french bread margherita
shredded fresh sweet basil covered with slices of fresh mozzerella on top of a baguette, toasted, then topped with slices of roma tomatoes. got the basil and tomaotes at a farmer's market.. they're delicious...
i eat to live and sometimes... live to eat.
i don't bother blogging about restaurants because there are ppl who do it better. just trying to prove that cheap, sometimes healthy, food can be quick and easy to make (in large quantities or repeated over and over and..) in a land of gut-wrenching instant ramen and unfulfilling frozen dinners. or marvel at the weird things i eat.
comment if you have any tips--i need them!
also, i've recently moved from southern california to the midwest. i started this blog in san diego, continued it briefly in los angeles, and now here i am in iowa...
